Makenna Rhoades is a cinematographer and director of photography born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and currently based in the Los Angeles area. She is a student at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, where she studies Film & Television Production with an emphasis in cinematography.
Her work includes narrative films and music videos, and she brings a strong technical foundation to each project. In addition to serving as director of photography, Makenna has experience working as a 1st AC, 2nd AC, and in grip and electric, allowing her to collaborate effectively across departments and support productions at every scale.
Across all projects, she is committed to transforming feeling into image and creating visually intentional work that resonates emotionally.
